Following is an attachment from the High Commission of the Maldives.

"The High Commission is pleased to inform that His Excellency the President of Maldives, Mr. Mohamed Nasheed will be making an official visit to the United Kingdom in April 2009.

During the visit, the President wishes to meet all Maldivian students and families in UK, and in this regard High Commission wishes to extend the invitation to the special function held for the purpose on 9 April 2009 at 1900 hours. The venue would be a hotel in central London, details of which will be notified in due course.
